LAW
Law in the Bible is a pagan term. Most people think when they hear the word law, they tend to think of todays courts and various laws, like speeding tickets, common law and civil laws, but the Bible meant the law was the first 5 books (Starting with Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy) called the Torah. Since the invention of the printing press and since the Protestant Reformation, the Holy Scriptures were translated from the original Hebrew and Aramaic languages respectively, but translators in almost every case have used an anti-Torah and anti-Hebrew approach. Contrary to the translations of most Greek manuscripts today, the original Aramaic manuscript, namely the Peshitta do NOT have an anti-Torah (law) bias, and clearly show that not only did our Savior Yâsha uphold the Torah perfectly, but that the Torah was also a prerequisite for His disciples that followed after Him.
This YABS Bible uses Torah instead of Law, so that readers understand the law is the first 5 books.
There are 613 laws of the Torah with a few of them already fulfilled because the Messiah is the ultimate sacrifice. https://tinyurl.com/LawsOfAhayah
